Cocalico School District located within Lancaster County and includes the charming towns of Denver, and Adamstown, PA. The Cocalico School District consists of 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. The teacher ratio is 14:1. 5 schools. Their mission statement is: “Through the use of technology…we iNSPIRE and support learning for every child, every chance, every day.” The school district believes that education is essential for every child, but they also include additional recreation activities.


Cocalico School District has the quant small towns, and large country farms. Ephrata, a slightly larger town is only a ten minute drive away and Lancaster city is a small city within a half hour. It’s also located within an hour’s drive of Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Reading, so you don’t have to drive very far for the big city feel. It really is a great place if you’re looking for a house with country feel within driving distance of larger cities, bustling with activities.

Denver has been a small town in America since 1735, and is filled with rich American history. The town is now filled with parks and playgrounds. In the summer you will find people roller-skating, skate boarding and playing basketball regularly at the park.

Due to most of the school district consisting of rural homes, it is a great place for families looking for a house with a few acres, or even a family looking for a larger farm. The backroads that wind through the district are well kept, but not too busy.
